1873: The First Tornado in Utah?

THE Salt Lake Herald Republican of August 22, 1873 reported that a tornado passed over the mining town of Bingham that day.
Some destruction of property was reported and the tornado was described as "terrible."
The so-called tornado produced a lot of dust. A quick cloudburst followed and all the rain washed out three miles of railroad grade.
